Curriculum Vitae
Research and Teaching Interests
- I am interested in associations between aspects of personality and adaptation (or psychopathology). Specific interests include mood regulation, coping with stress, and emotion. Most of my research has investigated the measurement and adaptive implications of generalized expectancies for negative mood regulation: People's beliefs about their ability to feel better when they feel upset (Catanzaro & Mearns, 1990).
- More information on my research
- I teach courses in personality and clinical psychology, such as Theories of Personality and Psychopathology.
