The Course Syllabus
The course syllabus provides a detailed description of the course objectives, content, requirements and grading structure. You can then print off the syllabus using the Print function under File in the browser menu bar above, or simply bookmark it for easy reference.

WebBoard
WebBoard is a web-based tool for interaction. It functions much like a Bulletin Board or list-serv and is designed to enhance communciation among people in the course (students and faculty). The usual rules of civil discourse and netiquette apply.

The Textbook
The textbook we are using in this course has a fairly well-developed website. This textbook website includes several study guides and resources, including links to recent news article of relevance, video clips, self-tests, and powerpoint slides based on the text. We will be using these resources throughout the course.

In addition to being described on the syllabus and announced in class, assignments will be posted on this page. NOTE THAT THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED FREQENTLY, OFTEN SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK. CHECK IT OFTEN!

Lectures
PowerPoint slide presentations will be saved as HTML files for viewing outside of class. REMINDER: A lot of good stuff will happen during class (I hope), including examples and discussion, so viewing the slides alone will typically not serve as a substitute for class attendance.
