Department of Psychology at Illinois State University
During the final semester before graduation, students must complete the Graduate School's Degree Audit (formerly Plan of Study). The Degree Audit identifies the coursework that has been completed to satisfy the degree and graduation requirements of the Department of Psychology and Illinois State University.
Click on the link to access the Graduate School's Degree Audit Web site. Students should download the Degree Audit form to the computer's desktop. The department recommends students download the WORD version, which is an interactive form that can be periodically updated and saved as a Microsoft Word document. Students should carefully review the information on the Degree Audit Web site and the instructions on the form.
Although the Degree Audit is not submitted until the final semester before graduation, students should consider updating the form as courses are completed. During the last semester, students must submit the completed form, as an e-mail attachment, to their program or sequence coordinator for department approval. The coordinator will submit the Degree Audit to the Graduate School for final approval.
See the Graduate School Dates and Deadlines Web site to ensure adequate time for a Degree Audit review before the established graduation deadline.
Change of Degree Audit: To request a change of an approved Degree Audit, the Change of Degree Audit form must be completed, and signed by the student, faculty adviser, and the program or sequence coordinator. The form should be submitted to the Graduate Psychology Programs Office for processing. The Change of Degree Audit will be sent to the Graduate School for approval.
