Welcome to ISPIC
The Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium (ISPIC) offers pre-doctoral internship positions in a variety of settings across the State of Illinois. Positions provide experiences in schools, hospitals, residential treatment programs, and clinics in rural, suburban, and urban settings. The program complies with all requirements of the National Association of School Psychologists and is accredited by the American Psychological Association.*
ISPIC currently has a class of 20 interns, 35% of whom are racially/ethnically diverse. Sixty percent of the cohort are from Illinois, while the remaining eight are from Arizona, Indiana, Tennessee, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Twenty interns will be arriving in August for the 08-09 year. Approximately 25% of the cohort are from racially/ethnically diverse backgrounds. While 35% are from in-state, the remaining 13 are from Arkansas, Arizona, Indiana, New York, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Oregon, California, and Florida.
