
Applications to the program must be recieved by Friday, November 14, 2008.
Interviews will be by invitation (mailed by December 15th) and will occur Thursday, January 8, 2009 in Normal, IL. Please reserve this date on your calendar. Please note: with your permission, photographs of applicants will be taken at Interview Day.
Application Procedures
School psychology students who have completed their practicum and program requirements are encouraged to apply to the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium. ISPIC desires a diverse applicant pool, including, but not limited to, the following: age, color, disability, ethnicity, gender, language, national origin, race religion, sexual orientation, and social economic status. Applicants must participate in the National Matching Service www.natmatch.com/psychint. ISPIC agrees to abide by the APPIC policy that no person at this training facility will solicit, accept or use any ranking-related information from any intern applicant (except that which is allowed within the context of arranging interviews for programs within ISPIC).

A completed application includes:
- APPIC application, which can be downloaded from www.appic.org **
- Site Interest form
- 1-2 Pieces of your work (e.g., an assessment report, a treatment summary, progress monitoring of an intervention, in-service handouts)**
- Vita**
- Copies of graduate transcripts**
- Three letters of recommendation

Please note that all successful intern matches are required to be fingerprinted and pass a background check before being permitted to begin training in the schools.

The Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium (ISPIC) is sponsored by and partially funded by the four Illinois doctoral granting universities including Illinois State University, Loyola University, National Louis University, and Northern Illinois University. Applicants for the consortium enrolled in these universities will not be given preferential treatment by any of the partnering sites.
