Part I:

1) A sports psychologist studied the effect of a motivational program on injuries among players of three different sports. The chart below shows the design. For each of the following possible pattern of results, make up a set of cell means, figure the marginal means, and make a bar graph of the results:
    a) a main effect for type of sport and no other main effect or interaction
    b) a main effect for program and no other main effect or interaction
    c) both main effects but no interaction
    d) no main effect for program or sport but an interaction

2) Carry out an analysis of variance for the following dataset, including making a table of cell and marginal means and making a bar graph of the cell means. Use an alpha level of 0.05.
