Courses Taught
- Practicum - Clinical practice in university
facilities and outside agencies. Provides training in
diagnosis and treatment.
- Theory and Practice of School Psychology - The
roles, functions and professional problems in School
Psychology.
- Seminar in School Psychology - Intensive study of
special topics in psychology.
- Professional Practice - Supervised work experience
in local, state, national, and international businesses,
agencies, institutions, and organizations. The experience is
planned, administered, and supervised at the departmental
level and coordinated though Professional Practice. If the
site is an educational agency or institution, the placement
must be approved by the Office of Clinical Experiences and
Certification Processes.
- Advanced Seminar in Professional School
Psychology
- Research apprenticeship - Provides the doctoral
student with an intensive experience related to the
development and implementation of an empirical research
project.
- Seminar and Practicum in Supervision of School
Psychological Services - Goal of the course is to
prepare school psychologists to supervise colleagues at
various stages of their professional development.
- Doctoral Internship in School Psychology - The
supervised practice of school psychology in a school and/or
clinical setting.
