Keys may be borrowed for shared research space and faculty research labs.

Procedures for shared research space:

• Students: Keys may be borrowed only for the time needed to unlock or lock a door (5 minutes); then the key must be promptly returned to the PRC. You must leave a picture ID in the PRC while a key is in your possession. Students are responsible for making sure the door is locked when they leave the research space.
• Failure to return keys promptly inconveniences others and may result in limiting or restricting your borrowing privileges.

Procedures for faculty research labs:

• Faculty: You may restrict access to a research lab by providing the PRC with a list of students who are approved to borrow the key for the research lab.
• Students: Keys may be borrowed only for the time needed to unlock or lock a door (5 minutes); then the key must be promptly returned to the PRC. You must leave a picture ID in the PRC while a key is in your possession. Students are responsible for making sure the door is locked when leaving the faculty research lab.
