Psi Chi and Student Psychology Association

Students in the Major in Psychology are eligible to participate in two student organizations sponsored by the Department of Psychology. One organization, Psi Chi Honor Society, is open to students who meet specific grade criteria and other qualifications. The other organization, the Student Psychology Association (SPA), is open to all Illinois State students. Both organizations regularly meet together and plan activities relevant to students interested in psychology. The Psi Chi and SPA induction ceremonies are held during the spring semester.
