Department of Psychology at Illinois State University

Registration

Students should verify their specific date and time for Advance Registration on iCAMPUS and register during that date and time for a wider selection of open courses. Note: Override requests for PSY courses are accepted only during Advance Registration.

Students who have completed less than 24 hours should contact University College for advisement. Students who have completed 24 or more hours are not required to meet with an academic advisor in order to register. Students should be able to plan their course schedules by consulting the information on the department's Undergraduates Web sites and the Undergraduate Catalog. However, if advisement is needed, students should schedule an appointment with an advisor before Advance Registration.

Students should complete the following steps in order to register:

1. Go to iCAMPUS and print Progress Towards My Degree or pick up a current Academic Progress Summary in Moulton 107.
2. Review the University's graduation requirements identified in the appropriate Undergraduate Catalog, Review the department's Requirements for the Major in Psychology and Model Course Schedules Web sites for required and suggested courses.
3. Register for classes on the assigned date and time during Advance Registration. Classes fill up quickly, so complete registration as early as possible.
4. If a PSY course is closed, consult the PSY Course Override Web site. If other courses are closed, contact the specific department or school.
