A. Payne Memorial Scholarship
Amount varies from $200 to $500 |
Students should submit a completed application

Open to senior psychology majors with excellent
academic records and involvement in campus and/or community
activities. |

Walter
Vernon Scholarship in Psychology
Amount varies from $300 to $900 |
Students will be selected based on their
academic record and invited to submit an application
to the Department Awards Committee. Applications
are due April 15th of the award year. |
Open to sophomore psychology majors who demonstrate
a high level of academic achievement. The
applicant must have completed 30-59 hours
by the spring semester. |

University Club Scholarships
Awards are $250-300 per students |
To provide incentive/support and recognition
for selected Illinois State University
students. Applicants must be nominated by
a department chairperson. Applications are
due November 1st of the award year. |
Both undergraduate and graduate students
qualify. Students must be in good academic
standing and demonstrate and economic
hardship/ circumstance. |

Class
of 1985 Scholarship
Annual awards of $500 |
Submit appropriate typed application form
and two letters of recommendation.
Candidates must not have previously been
awarded a Class of 1985 or 1986 Scholarship.
Applications are due March 10th of the award
year. |
Candidates must have a minimum 2.5
grade point average, have completed at least
70 hours and no more than 90 hours of credit
at time of application. Students must demonstrate
leadership and participation in campus activities
as well as a financial need. |

Robert G. Bone Scholarship
Bone Scholars receive commemorative medallions
and substantial cash prizes and have their
names engraved on a plaque permanently
displayed in the Bone Student
Center. The award is also recorded on the
student's transcript. |
The Director of
Honors coordinates the Bone Scholar selection
process. Each department is entitled to nominate
at least one candidate, but only one candidate,
for each 200 majors within that department.
The department generally nominates two candidates.
Applications are due February 1st of
the award year. |
Any nominee for a
Bone Scholarship must be a junior and have
attended Illinois State University for at
least four semesters (excluding summer) by
June of nomination year, must have a current grade
point average of 3.7 or higher.
(Students who already have a bachelor’s
degree are not eligible.) |
